Intumescent Dampers
Description:
Intumescent Dampers are constructed
from a steel frame containing horizontal
slats consisting of intumescent material.
Operation:
Under the heating conditions of a
fire, the horizontal slats expand
to a number of times their original
size, blocking any gaps against the
passage of fire and smoke.
No mechanical linkages or moving
parts, making them totally reliable.

Intumescent
Seals
Description:
Intumescent Seals are designed to
prevent leakage of high, medium and
low temperature smoke around fire
and smoke doors.
Application:
Rebated into edge of timber door
or into timber door frame. In normal
working temperatures, seals remain
stable and inert, under the heating
conditions of a fire, the PVC encased
intumescent expands to a number of
times its original size, blocking
any gaps against the passage of fire
and smoke. If cold smoke sealing
is required, seals with an integral
brush can be purchased.
